yes, and it works great. the only con is that, at least for me, it drains your battery about 10% per hour. so generally i prefer to just control music from my ionic and stream from my phone which uses almost no ionic battery life. the only con on that is that the artist/song info doesn't always work.

UE Boom pairing to Ionic worked for me as well. Have been able to pair all my BT audio devices to my Ionic without any issue. The only thing i run into sometimes is my cell phone grabs my speaker or earphones before my watch does. I just turn them off on my phone, and I'm set.
