Stupid question. Can I turn off the bluetooth on my I-phone? I do not use headphones. I thought bluetooth used a lot of battery life on the phone.

Everything ok with my new Ionic except the alarm. I installed a new app alarm now from Reddit.

Yes, you can turn off bluetooth on your phone and your fitbit will carry on working just fine. Of course, you will not get any notifications that you have enables but it will track your activity ok.

 

Then, when you are ready, you can sync your fitbit by turning on bluetooth on your phone and opening the app.
