Why does my Ionic fail to be found 9 times out 10 from my phone when it is right next to it and everything else connected to my phone works perfectly every time?

Which phone do you have, @Arkus ? Is it on the list of supported devices

Hi

I have a Samsung S10+ why would it not be on the supported phone list being the most popular mobile phone in 2019?

I’m just another Fitbit user trying to help other Fitbit users, @Arkus  so I cannot answer your question. All I can say is that it is not on the list. Perhaps they just have not gotten to testing it yet. Fitbit keeps updating the lest. Since your phone is so popular, I’m guessing it will not be long.

Thinking about it, I do have an idea for you to try, @Arkus .

  1. From your Fitbit app, remove the Ionic.
  2. Check your Bluetooth settings and if the Ionic is listed ... Forget it.
  3. Make sure your phone’s OS is up to date. Do the same for the Fitbit app.
  4. Close the Fitbit app and power the phone off completely.
  5. Go into a room that has NO OTHER bluetooth devices in it.
  6. Turn the phone back on and open the Fitbit app. Go thru the process of setting up the Ionic again, allowing it to connect to Bluetooth.

This process has helped others in the past. Sometimes too many Bluetooth devices can make things confusing. Hope this helps.
