Bought a brand new Fitbit Ionic and surprise to find dent on it. After setting it up, it didn't count the steps at all. Tried restarting the Fitbit, restarting of phone, factory reset and the problem persists. Seriously, extremely disappointed with the product especially Ionic is one of the more expensive one.

You should return it to where you bought it for exchange. You shouldn't have to "fix" a brand new tracker.
