I just received Ionic for my birthday yesterday.

Both yesterday and today,  the band has disconnected and it has fallen off!

Hi @Reikimaster You need to really push hard to get it to snap in place. Put some muscle into it and you should hear a click when it locks in place.

@Reikimaster, definitely don't wear it out and about until you can give the band a good tug and it doesn't come off -- otherwise you risk losing it!

@Reikimaster, give it a good tug.  If it can come off when you pull it, you haven't put the bands on correctly.  If you feel a snap in place when you attach the bands, and you cannot get it to come apart when you tug on it, then you should be able to safely put it on your wrist and go without fear of the band detaching.

I did not attach the band.It came factory loaded and still detached. Just a bad design?

If it came off, it obviously was not properly attached in the first place.  Once it is attached properly it should not come off.  To test, as I said, give it a good tug.

Yours is the only complaint about the band coming off that I have noted so far.  I expect once you get yours properly attached the issue will not recur.  Mine feels absolutely secure.

I am having the same problem.  The band keeps falling off.  A couple of times in the middle of my run and once while riding in a golf cart!  Do I have a defective Iconic?
