Have an Ionic. Has anyone else's wrist been burned from sensor?

Only way the sensor will burn your wrist is if the Ionic is overheating. If this is happening, then the battery will drain extremely fast.
You likely have the same issue I had, due to almost constantly wearing the device.
Things to do...
Wear the Ionic a little loosly so your skin breathes a little better.
Ensure your skin is kept dry. After showering, swimming and exercise remove the Ionic and dry it (body and bands) and your wrist before strapping it back on. I found keeping the strap a little loose the most important tip. But don't ignore moist skin.
Probably worth not wearing the device for 2 or 3 days to allow your skin to recover.
I still occasionally get a little splotch or two of inflamation on my wrist. They recover pretty quickly and don't stay long. All good!
Some of us have more sensitive skin, so YMMV. But the above should help.

Ohhh! It drained so fast yesterday, less than 12 hours and died! That must be the issue!
Thank you!
What helps the overheating? Wearing it looser can help that?

12 hours is still quite a long time for a tiny battery to produce measerable heat that is enough to "burn" your skin. So I really think it is an unlikely cause. Likely to be body heat building up under the Ionic along with rubbing and moisture, so try the suggestions, but allow the area on your wrist to heal, so take a break from wearing the device until it does.
If the device is draining in 12 hours, it could be an aging battery - how old is the Ionic?
Or, the device may need to be factory reset (from withing the settings>about) and setup as if a new device. Kept connected to a charger during the process.
