Afte a couple of years use, it decided to disconnect from the clock face and the only recourse was a factory reset. But it proved not possible to reinstall the software in a meaningful timeframe (several hours over a couple of days) this coupled with its appalling ability of not changing timezones automatically mean that in my my mind this is not a consumer friendly product. I have now decided to say good bye to fitbit and go to another provider.

Sorry to see you go, @Cleugh, and wish you all the best with whatever tracker you decide to go with. Curious what you mean by "disconnect from the clock face"?
