When someone calls my ionic just says unknown caller instead of the name.

A warm welcome to the Community @Mets86! I would like you to confirm that the person that's calling it's saved in your phone's contacts. Also, if you go to the phone's settings; just you've allowed the permissions to enable your contacts.

Additionally, make you you have the latest version of the app 2.58 for Android and 2.40.1 for iOS.

Hope this helps!

A warm welcome to the Community @Merc0723! I would like you to make sure that the person who is calling should be in your contacts and shouldn't be someone that you may have blocked (depends on the service provider).

Also, sometimes it has to be with the selection of contacts, contacts display accounts, some say Phone and others Google Contact or it can use both. You may want to change the person from phone contact to a Google contact and the name should show up on the tracker.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I don't know if this problem was resolved but I had the same problem after the Android 9.0 update.

To fix:

Fitbit app > Notification > Calls (Turn OFF and ON)

This worked for me. Hope this fixes for everyone.
