Can I do a fitbit challenge with apple watch users?

Hello, I am starting a fitness challenge at my work and would love to be able to have my co-workers whom use Apple watches be able to join a fitbit Challenge. I read about Mobile Track and had them download the app but I still cant find my friends and invite them to join the challenge. Any ideas on how to do this.....if possible at all.???

They need to be a member of fitbit to invite them

 As Wendy says they need to have registered, this may be done right through the Fitbit app after downloading.

Now to add them as friends, in the app tap community, friends, the + by the person, email, type on their email and hot send. They will receive an invite to become friends with you.
