Can not Navigate with Music Application once started Run

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When we have started Run in Exercise & want to connect Bluetooth device & turn on Music, I can't do that. Once Run started with Left button I can connect to Bluetooth device But there is no navigation available to start Music with Bluetooth device.

This the the Missed Bug, we must correct it as early as possible

Yep.

But try this instead.  Start the Music and connect your BT.  Press Play and listen to your tunes.  Now go Back and Start your exercise.  Music is on and Exercise is also now on.  If your BT have onboard controls for vol and pause and play plus fwd and back track -> you are good.  Personally do this for every Exercise and has worked a charm.

Give that a try and let me know.  But yeah the Ionic only has so much capability.  It is a very simple device that way.  Would not hold your breath waiting for Fitbit to change this “missed bug” anytime soon.  They are very very slow to implement fixes to “known issues” -> let alone add more capability to this thing.

Really there is no need to suffer in Frustration - simply call Tech Support at 877-623-4997 and get your Ionic replaced right now while you can
Many have followed this straightforward advice and now have a replacement Ionic - we all should have “zero tolerance” for any defective Ionic

Hello @yogeshi, thank you for the details.

You're referring to the Music Control feature, correct? You should be able to control your music while exercising, either with Running or by doing any other activity. If you're having trouble with this feature during your activity, please try the steps @Whistler888 kindly provided, or you can also find other useful information and troubleshooting steps here.

I hope this helps, keep us posted.
