Can’t find keep alive widget

Please can someone explain where the keep-alive widget is on apple (iOS)?

I can’t find this anywhere on the app and am having problems with notifications that do not clear on my ionic.

Thanks

@alexdavies82  I can't help on iOS but Fitbit has removed it from the last couple of Android App updates.

Just thought Id add my 2 cents, hopefully it'll bump the thread up and others who miss the widget can chime in as well.

They did remove the widget entirely one or two updates ago. I know a lot of people were complaining about having the constant icon in their notification tray, but they simply weren't realizing they could disable it in the settings. I really appreciated having that there! I like to check my dashboard on my PC occasionally while at work, and being able to simply pull down my tray and have my ionic sync without opening the actual app on the phone was extremely handy. It's fairly annoying to have to use the app just to do a quick sync.

I sincerely hope they will add that functionality back on the next update. It seems very silly and short-sighted to have removed it. If they wanted to appease the people complaining about the tray icon, they could have simply made the widget option disabled by default in the settings, but still allow those of us who DO like it there to have that option. This has really been bugging me from the moment it was removed.

Moderators - can you please address this? Is this something I should start a fresh thread about? Please advise. Thanks.

Because you now cannot disable the "Keep Alive Widget" it means the "Fitbit Sync Service" is always active now too!*.

Being forced to have a portion of the fitbit app running at all times is not acceptable. You've now removed that ability.

*Hiding the notification for it does not remove it, it's still there.
