Why after I start playing music on the Ionic can I not go back to the watch to control it? I can not change pause, start, or skip without starting a new shuffle?
Also is anyone else getting major delays in notifications? I phone rang, I picked it up and after I got off the call ( about 30 secs ) my watch vibrated that a call was coming in.

Welcome to the Community @zennode! Yes, you can go back and check any other setting in your watch, just press the back button. You can learn more about it by checking How do I control music with my Fitbit device?.
The notification should be instantaneously, I would like you to restart your tracker and make sure you have the latest version of the app which is 2.42 for iOS and 2.61 for Android. After this, set them up again.

I have the latest firmware as of yesterday and re downloaded the app. For the last week or so I have not got a single notification to the watch. And I still can not go back with the music.

Thanks for getting back @zennode! I would like you to confirm that you've followed this set up notification procedure. Also, regarding the music issue you're currently having, confirm you restarted your Ionic.

I've noticed that the vibrations are hit or miss, bit the the device does actually receive the notification. I don't receive many calls to comment on a delay with call notifications, though.
