I performed a factory reset on my Ionic today. I removed the device from my Fitbit account before resetting. After the reset, the credit card I had set up in the wallet is still there. I tried to remove it so I could re-add it but I get an error. The error message is: "Unable to remove card. Please try again." I have tried multiple times in a row with no success. How do I remove a card? My bank is Commonwealth Bank in Australia, Ionic firmware version 27.25.16.7, I'm using the Fitbit app on Android.
I thought I might need to suspend it first, but when I try to suspend the card I get the following error message: "Sorry, but we can't continue because your Fitbit's firmware is out of date. Please make sure that you have installed the latest software update for your device." There is no available update showing in the Fitbit app. I even tried disabling the Fitbit Wallet through the dashboard on the website, but this also didn't work.

Seems like a bug of some sort. I too encountered this. What I did was uninstalling the Fitbit app on my phone and installing it again. Then just go ahead and log back in. There shouldn't be any need to pair the device but you might need to manually change whatever settings in your app that have been reverted to default.
From there on, click on Wallet again and it should guide you through another fresh setup.

I just had this problem. Using the help chat, I went online and shutdown fitbit pay there. I then had to, on my phone in the app, log out and log back in to get it to clear from my phone.
