Can't sync/transfer music

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a brand new Ionic. The music syncing doesn't work following the instructions on fitbit site. I have music on my Mac, but when I try to do "Transfer Music", Fitbit Connect says "No playlists found. We didn't find any playlist files in your music folder", even after adding the folder containing the Music files.

@aalborz Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for your question and for sharing the error message you are getting when doing this.

It is possible that your playlist is not on the correct music folder and that you may need to change its location. Please take a look at this post to check a similar situation somebody had.

Are you using iTunes? If you do you need to make sure you approve the app to share playlists with your watch: Open iTunes on your computer > Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Share iTunes Library XML with other applications > OK.

Also, please check the steps on this helpful article about transferring music to a Mac specifically (If this is not what you have done before).

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

I read the entire article & tried what was suggested, but it did NOT solve the issue.

While working on resolving this issue, I notice another issue: it’s not allowing me to change the WiFi provider. So, my device can only connect with the initial one I set up with!

I’m going to return the device.
