Can the Ionic connect to and play Spotify music?

@fishies I read in one of the posts by Ericfitbit (moderator) back on 08-28-2017

 

"We are continuing to explore other music streaming options to further meet the needs of their users outside the U.S. but do not have any details to share at this time."

I'm an avid Spotify user and would really like to see Spotify become available for the FitBit Ionic very soon!

Just had my new Fitbit Ionic. Disappointed it would not work with Spotify. So much better if it could.

No the Ionic cannot currently play Spotify, but it can play Pandora.
