Can you change the iTunes database?

I have iTunes on both c: and an external drive. I Want the Fitbit to pick up the iTunes database on the external drive, and changed the settings on FitbitConnect accordingly. However, FitbitConnect keeps going to the c: database. Can this be changed? I'm on Windows 7.

@Martie6 It's nice to see you around. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.

Since you've changed these settings on the Fitbit Connect, once you're choosing your songs it should go automatically to the external drive. I would like you to make sure you're doing this procedure to download music and podcasts to your Ionic.

You mentioned you have iTunes in both, make sure you approve the app to share playlists with your watch: Open iTunes on your computer > Edit > Preferences > Advanced Share iTunes Library XML with other applications > OK.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Hi there, thanks for your response. I have followed the procedure, but I can still not load music from an external database to Fitbit.

I have deleted the playlists in my iTunes database on c:

In FitbitConnect, I click on "Add folder" and make sure the correct folder for iTunes is selected.

FitbitConnect still cannot pick up any playlists.

@Martie6 Thanks for getting back.

You will need to use the iTunes that's installed on your computer. Please transfer music using iTunes installed on your computer and not using any external database. Check the instructions in this article: How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch?
