I recently purchased a Fitbit Ionic and cannot get notifications from the phone to the watch. The app says to perform reset of the phone but have done this numerous times and doesn't make any difference. Also having syncing issues first thing in the morning. Very disappointed with my purchase!

I think the problem is not your Ionic but the communication between your phone and the Ionic. Your phone is not listed on the Supported Devices List and I thi that is the reason notifications are not working. All you can do is go through all the suggestions in THIS Help Article on troubleshooting notifications.
