Card details disappearing from watch

I’ve owned an Ionic for about 2 months now. Although I’m enjoying using the watch to record runs, all the extras I thought I was getting like music and Fitbit pay have been problematic. Twice in the last week my card details have disappeared from the wallet. On the app is looks as if my card is there but not on the watch. Great to have this when I’m out running but absolutely flipping useless if the card disappears. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Community @Julieo97. Thanks for the details mentioned.

I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying your Ionic. It's pretty weird that the card details are missing from it.

I would like you to restart your Ionic, force quit the app and then add again the card if it's not showing there.

Let me know the outcome.

Thanks for your reply. It is pretty weird, but it’s the second time it has happened. Card showing on the app but not on the watch. If I have to keep deleting and reinstalling defeats the freedom the watch is meant to bring. I might as well carry my card with me. Plus also the watch froze when I was charging and I could not get into the menus. Had to disable the pin code via the app. Fine because I was at home with access to my phone, not so good if I was out.

Thanks for getting back @Julieo97. I appreciate that you mentioned that your watch froze while charging.

I understand how you feel about your card not showing in your watch. It's definitively not the correct behaviour if your Ionic is freezing and the card keeps disappearing, please let me know if this happens after you've tried the troubleshooting I posted above.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

The card is showing up again so that is good news. The bad news is I now can’t send replies to notifications from my watch. It was working before and isn’t now. Disappointing

Thanks for getting back @Julieo97. I would like you to try force quitting the app, reset Bluetooth, restart your device, refresh notifications and set them up again. You can find the instructions here

@Bobselvan732 A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.

It's pretty weird that your card details are disappearing from your Ionic but they are showing on your app. I would like you to double check the card order by doing the following:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab, then tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap your device image, then tap the Wallet tile.
  3. Tap Edit.
  4. Hold and drag the bars to change the order of the cards. The first card is set as your default card
  5. Tap Done.

If your credit card details aren't showing, please delete it from your app, add it again and continue monitoring its behavior.

Let me know how it goes.I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
