I’ve been using my FitBit Ionic consistently for a year and my Charge 2 a year before that. I run/workout on average 5x a week. My score hasn’t gone up at all, even adding more and more activity. Recently I started cutting back calories and reaching my weight loss goals. But my fitness score DROPPED! It’s only 29 now. I thought weight loss and running would increase my fitness score?

@Bsunrise Welcome to the Community. Thanks for sharing details about your fitness life.
I'm glad to hear that you've reached your weight goal. Your cardio fitness score is determined by your resting heart rate, age, sex, weight, and other personal information. For best results, make sure your weight is correct in your Fitbit profile. Also, wear your tracker or watch to sleep for a better resting heart rate estimate. Your cardio fitness score will be shown as a range unless you use GPS for runs.
I would like you to double check that all your personal information is properly entered in your Dashboard and that your Fitbit Ionic is syncing all your data to your Dashboard.
Also, we can provide a more precise estimate of your score using the relationship between pace and heart rate during your runs. This is because individuals with higher VO2 Max have a lower heart rate while running at the same pace compared to individuals with lower VO2 Max. If you're able to run at a comfortable pace for at least 10 minutes, track a run with GPS. We recommend running on flat terrain as much as possible since only the flat sections of your run count towards your score estimate. You may need to go on several runs that are at least 10 minutes in length to affect your score.
Let me know how it goes. I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Mine dropped from 49 to 32, despite my resting HR being lower..... The only difference is that I have swapped from running to spinning (to save knees), wife's has done something similar.....
Not a massive deal as I know I am in better shape than I was before, but it does rather remove the motivation to improve the score.
