I went to the fitbit page and replaced Run, Bike, Swim, Treadmill, Weights, Interval Timer and Workout on my new Fitbit Ionic with Walk, Run, Bike, Swim, Treadmill, Weights and Interval.
The Fitbit app on my phone updated itself but the watch, despite syncing twice now, still shows all the old exercises. I really want to use GPS to track my walks since I walk 5-6 miles a day.
How do I do this? Thanks!

In the dashboard page of Fitbit, after you change or choose new exercises, you have to make sure to hit the save button when you are done .

In the Fitbit app, tap the watch icon to bring up the settings for your Ionic. Then, scroll down to "Exercise Shortcuts" and make sure you have the exercises you want in the top list so that the icon/shortcut shows up on your wrist.
Also, on your Ionic, go into the Exercise app, and tap on the settings gear. Make sure GPS is set to "on".
