Character encoding problem

This is another issue with the Ionic, it does not recognise Greek character encoding on incoming notifications resulting in &#!%%%££€$$*@÷= like characters.

Anyone else having this problem with same or other languages?

Welcome to the club! If you search the forums, you will find plenty of topics -- Blaze and now Ionic -- where people, including yours truly, complained lack of support for non-Latin alphabet. Basically, if you read using Greek, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Arabic, or any other alphabet, you are out of luck.

We never got any response from Fitbit about this "optimization". I think in 2017, you have to work real hard to actually NOT get all written languages supported. And Fitbit proudly rose to the occasion!

Well if this is true as you are describing then it is very disappointing and unacceptable by Fitbit.
