How to make a child account for an ionic, there is only an option for the ace for some reason.

Sorry but only Ace and Ace 2 can be set up for child in family account.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks that’s pretty poor from Fitbit to be honest, but looking further online my son can join next week when he’s 13.

They have been honest, the Ace is advertised as a tracker for children and designed to be compliant with the Cold Online Protection Act. The other models, on their package and your user manual, clearly state the age requirements. 

I'm not sure how this is not honest.
