Clearing Whatsapp notifications

Hi Guys,

 

 I have set whatsapp as my default messenger app. I am receiving the notifications fine which is great. Sometimes when I have the phone in my hand I can just go ahead and address the message, however I still have to clear the notification from the Ionic. Is there any way for the ionic to recognise that I have read the message on my phone?

Nope, it's a one way, one time street. Once the Ionic received the notification the "thread" is cut

Ok thanks @SunsetRunner ... I will just have to remember to clear them off periodically as they are stacking up 😮
