Clock and app reviews

I wish there would be a place to review the apps and clocks for the Ionic. I too was using the classic clock and got the error message of the k•pay error. If there would be reviews I would of known about it ahead of time and I most likely wouldn't of used it.

Great idea, @rookstaci. Make sure and post it in the Feature Suggestion section of the site, so Fitbit will be sure to see it.

Good idea. I have noticed that options like changing color do not work on a lot of clocks.

They do work, but you need often a reset of the watch after install, and before you start customizing anything.

So:

Install

Reset watch (left button and lower right button)

AFTER reconnect en sync, start customizing.

To be fair to the developer, he does state in the watch face blurb that is visible at the outset a one-time payment is required after the free 3 day trial. How far ahead of time do you need?

I have done all of that. One or two will change colors but as a whole most will not.

Most Do NOT work, even with Resets and opening and closing the app.  They are riddled with bugs.

Timebomb is my favorite example... It takes a reset, open and close of the app, and a sync to change the color.  Then, if you press either of the shortcut buttons on the right the watchface defaults back to gray. When you go into the face settings it will show the color you had, but no color changes will work again unless you reset and open and close the app again.

I agree with you.... Posting a negative review because someone did not read the clock description is not fair to the developer.

I HATE that they are allowed to charge anything, but it is what it is...... This is why Fitbit should create section s for paid and free faces.

Well that is indeed a good example of a bad programmed watchface, as you describe it.

It should never revert to another color after pushing a button, i would think.

But at least that is not something that Fitbit did wrong, just the watchface programmer.

The more I think in this the more I agree. All they need is a review sec too at the end of each page like Amazon has. It would be perfect. I realize it sometimes opens up undue criticism but that will happen anyway and would also help the creator perfect it.
