Comparability problem with samsung edge7

I recently purchased fitbit ionic from USA and using it in India 

I tried to setup in one plus 5 and samsung edge 7 android phones 

Its not getting connected with Bluetooth 

Kindly resolve this issue as i cant change my both the phones for fitbit

I installed fitbit app on both my phones .

First I tried with one plus 5 . Bluetooth connection is seen but not
getting connected .

Than I tried on samsung edge7 . In this device bluetooth connection is on i
am scanning but fitbit device not found .

How should I resolve it

Are you sure you are setting it up within the fitbit app? Just in case you have to open the fitbit app go to account and from there choose set up a new device, choose Ionic.

I switched it off and restarted . Also I off and on the Bluetooth.
But it's not getting connected

The OnePlus 5 is not currently verified/included as a compatible device which explains why it's not working. However, the S7 Edge is compatible. I found those details here: https://www.fitbit.com/devices

When setting up with your S7 Edge does it prompt you to pair with the Ionic?

So in android settings -> Bluetooth .. you don't see the device straight away, and you don't see the device in the Fitbit app?
