Are you sure you are setting it up within the fitbit app? Just in case you have to open the fitbit app go to account and from there choose set up a new device, choose Ionic.

Hi there!
The OnePlus 5 is not currently verified/included as a compatible device which explains why it's not working. However, the S7 Edge is compatible. I found those details here: https://www.fitbit.com/devices
When setting up with your S7 Edge does it prompt you to pair with the Ionic?
If you still have trouble, here's something that may help: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1872?q=bluetooth+pairing&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1
Good luck and cheers!

So in android settings -> Bluetooth .. you don't see the device straight away, and you don't see the device in the Fitbit app?
