Hello everybody.
I have an Fitbit Ionic for almost a month and I have doubts whether to keep it or not.
Basically it works well, notifications sometimes come later, synchronization lasts more than 10 seconds usually (it's not a bad thing, but it always works), the floors are wrongly counted but not big differences. Let's say (and hopefully) that the pulse is measured well and the same for steps. At the pulse I saw on smartwatch a value of 126 that later did not appear as the maximum in the application. Those are the negative points. There would still be reliability over time (seeing a lot of users who complain that start to have problems with Ionic after months) and that puts me in great difficulty.
But, as the title says, I want to raise the issue of sleep recording. How real is it.
In the first picture is the sleep of the previous night immediately after the synchronization, unmodified. The second picture is modified because I know at what time I went to sleep and woke up. After the change, there is an new REM period close to 4 am, but also others differences. How is it possible? And it's not the first time I noticed changes during sleep after adjusting bedtime and waking hours. Sleep recording should begin and end with the awake period, not with light.

Can't say why it happens, maybe costomer support a could see enough background data to tell you
I can say that several people have worn there fitbits durring asleep studies and the tech was surprised at the accuracy
