Daily steps won't reset and continue to go up

Disregard my post I found out it is registering steps while sleeping because i have a fan nearby.

I sure wish there was a manual sleep setting.

Now, if wish to keep it i must undesirably take it off every night.

 

I have had my Ionic for three days now and it keeps adding each days steps together. The daily calories restart each day but the steps keep going up without restarting. I have reset it by holding down the two buttons needed to do so without any luck. What should I do?

Maybe try putting the fan further away?
