Data lost on my Ionic

I recently travelled to the U.S. where my cell phone was on roam and data turned off to save extra charges. I had periodic access to WIFI. I was very frustrated to see that none of my data from my days activities registered. My stats say that I got 0 steps and no other data for the week I was gone. I thought that the Ionic would store the information and upload when there was an internet connection?? 

 

I am extremely disappointed! Is there a setting or something I can do to fix this?

@Jimbo_canada, as long as you were able sync your Ionic at least once every 7 days there should be no lost data.  If you were not able to sync within 7 days, you would only lose the data that is over 7 days old and everything else will still be available to update your account. Are you certain that your Ionic has synced with your phone?  If no data is showing on your dashboard, it would appear that it has not synced.
