After a factory reset a red cross in a red circle appears with the message "data not cleared sync & Try again".
We tried to sync with the fitbit app for Android but the Ionic does respond. We changed the Smartphone but the Ionic does not respond. We took a tablet with Windows 10 and the fitbit app but the Ionic does not respond. We called the fitbit Hotline but they tried to deny the Problem. It is awful.
Now we reactivated the surge and it works.
We bought the Ionic from Fitbit, but Fitbit is not willing to change or to repair the Ionic. This is not customer friendly Support.

I am experiencing the same problem. This is unacceptable for a $300 product. I can't believe they wouldn't even help you when you called. Luckily I got mine from verizon and am still within my 14 day trial period. I am taking it back ASAP.

I am experiencing the same issue with the Ionic. No support at all from Fitbit. We will get rid of all Fitbit devices in the family, since we cannot support a company that charges 400€ for a smartwatch, then breaks it with a faulty update and offers no support. Ridiculous and very mean. I was happy with Fitbit until I noticed that they are evil.
