Data on shared image and GPS question

Good day,

After a run i like to share a picture I've normally taken on the run and fitbit overlays the picture with data from the run. Problem is now it is not showing the distance run... It shows Time, calories, ave bpm and steps - i would prefer distance to steps but cant find where to change it?

Also is there a way to reset the GPS - it never connect when i go for run. I've gone the entire run with it just saying "connecting" and i've just tried statically for 15 min now and it still hasn't connected?

@Zorr0 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

I'll be happy to clarify your inquiries. When you're sharing your exercise, it will automatically choose which stats will be displayed, if it's a run it will show minutes, pace and calories burned, you'll have the option to choose heart rate as your background and you could share it using a picture.

If you would like that Fitbit lets you choose which stats you could share, please post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those ideas are reviewed by our team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.

There are a few reasons why GPS might not connect. Review the information below, then check the requirements and troubleshooting steps.

  1. Environmental factors, including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover, can interfere with your device’s or phone’s ability to connect to GPS satellites. If the signal is blocked—either because you're underground or due to another reason—GPS won't work.
  2. Confirm that GPS is enabled on your device. For more information, see How do I turn on GPS for an exercise on my Fitbit device?

Keep me posted. I'll be around if you need further assistance.
