So during my run today I wanted to deactivate the ‘ always on’ screen as I knew I was low on battery. I then realised you can’t deactivate the always-On screen without actually stopping the run- is this correct ? Same goes for checking battery power while recording a run.... you can’t check battery power while recording a run. Am I doing something wrong ?
it just doesn’t make sense ! You should be able to check others things while recording a run

When you are on a run that takes priority. You need to do other things before you start your run.

Yes, that's correct. It assumes you've set up the screen setting before starting an exercise. I've only set my once per exercise mode, so maybe it wasn't assumed they would be changed mid-exercise?
Ditto on the battery level. This would be an important feature for battery management, so I've created a Feature Suggestion for it. Please vote for it there, so Fitbit knows it's something we're looking for.
