My Ionic has switched off and has no display. The app on my phone can not detect it and says “battery dead”. This is the 2nd Fitbit that’s died on me with no chance of restoring as tried all options on the forum. Same happened to my daughter, she says ringing customer service is a waste of time so not bothering. Going to buy a garmin as the bike computer I have has never failed me in five years. I bought my daughter her Fitbit so have spent £600 in less than two years and all three died. Pathetic product. Always die just out of warranty. Garmin is the future.

Okay, sorry you're having this issue. I don't know what to say. I have the same problem. I charged my Ionic this morning, as I do nearly every day, during my shower. It was at about 98% charge just a bit ago and I went for a jog. I ran on my treadmill for a couple miles and went to stop the tracker. The display was off. I tried to wake it but nothing. The heart rate monitor is out too. I'm going to charge it again but that shouldn't be the problem. This is my second Ionic since they came out, they replaced the first one for me since that died. I don't expect another freebie but I'm not sure I'm going to pay for another one. Any suggestions?
