Deezer Playlist not downloading

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Deezer playlists simply won't sync with my Fitbit ionic. I've read many threads on the same topic but non of them give a clear solution. What is the problem? WiFi connection etc. Is all fine...

Hello @Jponet welcome to the Community Forums, it's a pleasure for me to help you with your Deezer difficulties.

Seems odd that you're unable to download your Deezer playlist to your Fitbit Ionic, thanks for taking the time to check some Community Forum posts prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to plug your Ionic watch into the charging cable. Playlists download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or you can tap Force Sync Now in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app to add the playlists to your watch.

Also, to change the Wi-Fi network your watch is connected to or to make sure your network type is compatible, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi? because this can be affecting the download process. If by any chance your playlists don’t appear to be downloading, review the troubleshooting steps that are specified in Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi? and Why won’t my Fitbit device sync? Then try again to download your playlists.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Odd? There are 6 topics in the last week about this. This is a common problem that FitBit needs to address.

Got it figured out. Pretty sure it's a permissions issue with the Fitbit app. Might want to include checking the permissions in the troubleshooting steps for this topic going forward.
