Detaching the Wristband

How do you detach the wristband from the watch? I want to clean the band and I think it'd simply be easier if I detach it. I can't seem to figure it out though, and I don't want to break it. Any tips?

Hi @dragonfireboy Welcome to the Community. If you turn your Ionic upside down and look where the stap meets the  case you will see 2 oblong buttons which you just have press to release the strap from the  casing
