Device locked and won’t unlock after update

Last night my device received an update now this morning I cannot unlock it with my set up lock code. I try to reset the lock code and it comes back with an error to try again later cannot use the device now. What is the fix?

After removing cards in Wallet, finally got the lock to go away, actually caused the lock to finally timeout on resets. Once the Ionic no longer had a lock added back cards in the wallet and set a new lock code. Now it works
