Ionic step count wrong after tracker update.

My Ionic prompted a tracker update this week. Today I don't believe I've done more than 5k steps because I spent over 3 hours this afternoon on my motorbike yet its counted over 10k. I've checked on the app to see when the steps were registered and the bulk of them are during my ride. This hasn't happened before as I cycle and ride my motorbike alot so it appears to be post update. Is there a way to recalibrate or reset?

After doing some reading I think I'm just chalking it up to the vibration on the bike. I guess I've just never really registered it before. I'll have to take note of times I ride and log the steps as driving in the future.
