Device not charging

i recently purchased a fitbit iconic and i charged it for 5 hours and its not turning one i cleaned the charging port and its still not working can anyone help me fix this?

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? I tried all the things and it is not working at all when I order it I
charged it immediately and still nothing I have tried all the things you
have recommended and nothing.
