Device not recording Sleep Stages

Hi there, one of the main reasons I moved to the Fitbit community was that I was reading amazing feedback about the sleep quality app. But, so far it has not been a positive experience with me. The first week it worked awesome. But now is not giving me the sleep stages, only the bar graph (27 nights total, 13 read sleep stages). Already tried tightening watch.
iOS: 13.3

Fitbit app: 3.13

In order for your Ionic to record Sleep Stages, please do not use the Begin Sleep Now function because this will prevent your Fitbit to accurately track such feature. Please keep me posted and let me know if you experience the same.

Hi @Belto716, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I'm happy to know that you're enjoying the Fitbit Community as much as I do. Let me share with you that there are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of Sleep Stages, find them as follows:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results you can  wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

Let me know if you have any additional questions for me to answer, I'll be around.

Thanks for the reply in such a short notice. I did not understand the last
part. So should I use the fitbit app feature of Begin Sleep Now or should I
not and just fall asleep? FYI ive been using it since day one. Anw Ill take
into account everything you said prior to it. Thanks again for your help
