Have had my fitbit for approx 15 months. Was really acting up with not syncing, not sending notifications, and then yesterday just turned off (with it having 89% battery life). It now will not turn back on. Have tried hard resetting it, recharging it, etc but nothing. This is my second fitbit with the same issue. Anyone have any recommendations?

Hi @Brownie7, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation
Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be here.

I had mine for exactly 15 months as well. 6 days ago it just died. My son's Ionic died 2 hours ago. The only offer from fitbit was 25% off on a new one, which sounds like a joke for a $300 device.
I think the device has some constructively planned lifetime (15-18 months), and after that the device just gets bricked.

It looks like a mockery twice as they were selling Ionics for just $149 last Black Friday (you can find the stats on camelcamelcamel).
And they offer buying these for $200 for their loyal customers!
What a hypocrisy and shame!

Shame on you guys!
This is not normal when your products break for no apparent reason immediately after the warranty expires.
I assume it is either a constructive defect, or an intentional behavior implemented by the manufacturer in order to motivate customers on buying the new devices.
In either cases, this completely destroys the credibility of your company.
In the meantime, I am going to get rid of all the Fitbit devices of my family (of which I have a lot), and I will never deal with you again.
