My watch display disappears in exposure to to much sunlight. How do I rest the time?

I understand that you cannot see the display in bright sunlight.  But I don't know what you mean by wanting to "rest the time".

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
