My ionic keeps telling me I've had more hours sleep than I actually have had. For e.g., If I'm watching a movie it tells me I've been asleep during that time..

Hello @kaz46758 thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's nice to see you again participating in our Community Forums, welcome back!
I'd like to share with you that all of our wrist-based devices automatically detect your sleep, meaning you just need to wear your tracker or watch to bed. Autodetection is based on your movement, therefore, when you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device assumes that you’re asleep. Additional data—such as the length of time your movements are indicative of sleep behavior (such as rolling over)—help confirm that you’re asleep. Morning movement tells your tracker that you’re awake. If you’re not moving but not asleep for long periods of time it’s possible for your device to falsely record sleep, in which case you can delete the sleep log from your history.
Fitbit uses a combination of your movement and heart-rate patterns to estimate your sleep stages. For more information, see What should I know about sleep stages?
Keep me posted. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Hi Richardo, thank you.
Sorry for the extra post, what happened, as I clicked on post, it said something went wrong in the process, so I typed another one and it worked. Then when it finished loading it showed the 1st post was up as well..
Just to reply to your message. I do wear my ionic to bed, all the time really. Except during showering and charging.
And in regards to staying still and it thinking I'm asleep, I'm actually up and down constantly while watching a movie. So I don't understand why it would think I'm stationary or asleep..
I could also be watching tv from 6 till 9pm then go to bed after that time and in the morning it has detected that I was asleep, but I'm not stationary during this time either. I'll be up around 5am in the morning and off to my training and it's telling me I'm asleep till 5.30 plus... not sure why, do you?

You're welcome @kaz46758, your reply and the details that were shared in your post are appreciated. My apologies for the delay in responding your post.
No worries about the duplicated post, it's something that usually occurs by error. Regarding the sleep situation, it's not normal that your device track sleep information if you're moving around and not completely sedentary watching a movie. That said, so I can better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Also, this occurs just when you're watching a movie or with any other activity such as when you're eating, reading a book, etc?
If possible, please send me a screenshot of one of the sleep logs that were recorded when you were watching a movie. You can to this post to do so.
Looking forward to your reply.

My new Fitbit HR4 recoded a 4 and 1/2 hour sleep when I had cooked a meal and been cleaning. Am not very impressed with it.
