Device turns off during exercise

The last two times I've run on a track, my Ionic has turned off mid run and I can't turn it back on until I set it on the charger.  Both times, the battery was well over 70 percent when it just shut down.  Very frustrating to have spent this much on a watch that won't track me on the track where I need it most.

Hi Ricardo,

Thank you for your response.  I have only done three track workouts with my Ionic.  The first one was fine, however the second one, back in September, was a mile and a half time trial during which the watch shut off halfway through the run.  The battery level was above 60 percent.  The second time was just last Wednesday, during interval training.  Again the watch shut off midway through, and the battery was above 70 percent.  It does not do this on normal runs, only during track workouts.
