Dear,
I went on holiday and my fitbit's battery was empty.
Load him up and he worked just fine until I went swimming with it.
Now he won't charging, he doesn't work anymore.
Has anybody any clue what to do?
It's pretty annoying
Thanks!

Hello @Vincetheprince thanks for bringing this to my attention, welcome to the Community Forums.
I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation.
Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be here.

Dear,
The sensors of my fitbit containing drops, I probably think from the
swimming.
>From that moment it went wrong. I couldn't charge it and he doesn't work
anymore
The solutions you send from the link doesn't work for me. Just tested it.

HI Ricardo,
since I have more or less the same issue I won't start a new thread.
I'm currently in Central Asia where daytime temperature is around 40 degrees celcius
My Ionic worked perfectly well until I went n holiday and decided to go for a swim.
During the swim it kept on working only after the swim (which took some 45 minutes) it started to behave erratically and 'died'
Charging is no longer possible as the screen only shows: 0% charge.
Is there any thing I can in order to be able again to enjoy my Ionic?
As the tips you supplied in this thread doesn't work for me 😞

Following, the same thing happened to me after going to a water park yesterday. The only thing I have gotten is the blinking fitbit logo.

then this past Tuesday, it completely died. No Screen, no charge, nothing. So disappointed in fitbit.

Hello again, it's a pleasure to continue providing assistance, sorry for the delay in responding. Welcome to the Community Forums @lars-atx. It's nice to see you both participating again @SunsetRunner and @RunnerMom1978, welcome back.
I appreciate the details that were shared in each of your posts, sorry for the inconvenience experienced with your Ionic devices. My best advise will be to follow the steps that are specified on my previous post. Please give it a try to the troubleshooting steps from such help article and let me know how it goes. If by any chance those steps are tried with no avail, please try our factory reset procedure following the next steps:
Just take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
I'll be here if you need further assistance. Keep me posted.

Nothing has worked and it wont even start now. I can't tell if it is even charging and yes everything is clean for the charging port. I just decided to give up. This is the 4th fitbit device I've had that went bad after only a year. The quality of your devices is not what it used to be. I went ahead and purchased a Garmin. So far I am very satisfied with it. I will never go back to fitbit again.

an expensive lesson learned...
So disappointed in FitBit.
I decided to ditch my Ionic as it remains completely 'dead' and turn away from FitBit alltogether.
Moved to the Garmin camp and got myself a nice Fenix instead.

Dear,
I think also to buy something else.
My fitbit went in a second dead, for that money it isn’t normal.
