Are the additional bands more comfortable/fit better than the one supplied with the Ionic? Please tell me your experiences if you bought one of them.
Thanks.

I bought the Cobalt Blue (Needs to match my uniform, lol) Sports Band. Of course it is still in the pre-order stages, but I can hardly wait for it to be delivered (Also pre-ordered the Flyer). I like the Slate Blue band that came stock with my Burnt Orange Ionic, but the sport band just looks a tad snazzier!!!

I ordered the Coral Sports band because of aesthetics ;). waiting for it to arrive, but I prefer the bands with lots of ventilation.

I was convinced with the cobalt/lime, but then I noticed this one on amazon that caught my eye.

I was looking at that band too but unfortunately it can't be shipped to my location. It seems like all the sports bands I see can't be shipped to me.

Thanks but has anybody actually received a band they could review? No need to respond if you haven't. Cheers.

So has anybody received any bands yet? What was it? Happy or sad?
(Please don't comment until you have received it!).
Cheers.

People are free to comment when they like! You are not going to stop them. To keep the trend going I have odered a sports band from Fitbit and another from China. Neither has arrived yet 🤣🤣
(Sorry, couldn't resist - But when they do I'll let you know my thoughts!)

That is true but being the OP who created this thread I would have hoped some people would have respected my request. Whatever..
It's a pity that some people can't wait to gloat about their ability to consume, rather than give useful feedback to those who would prefer to learn from people's experiences who have consumed..but whatever.

I bought this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06W2L6HQW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
More dressy looking than the band that came with my Ionic. Magnetic clasp works well but does loosen occasionally during sleep. Black is slightly darker than my charcoal Ionic but it looks nice. For $10 I think it was very good value and gives me another option for the style of the watch.

As promised above - my fitbit sports band has arrived (no sign if the non genuine one yet). The fitbit one is excellent. It is thinner, lighter and more pliable than the band that comes with the Ionic (though I actually found that band very comfortable). It has lots of holes so good air circulation, and the adjustment is better as the holes are smaller than the original and closer together. The band keeper works just as well as the original one with the clip. Very happy with it.

@SunsetRunner
For what it is worth, as a knuckle head who bought not just one but two bands for a brick, here is my review.
I bought fitbit's leather strap Brown or Tan and it feels good on the skin. I am having allergic reactions with the band which came with it and the sports band from Fitbit. But thats something I have always had, perhaps with the type of material the band is made and my skin type. You can't wear the leather strap during workouts.
I also feel that the blaze design of interchanging the watch pebble unit is superior to that of ionic. I had two Blaze frames one with leather and the other an after market silicone which wasn't allergic as the fitbit's own band. It was much easier to swap the unit.

Well it's nice band for under £15 but they appear to have sent me a large rather than a small.

Love the Sport band! As @NellyG mentioned, it is super comfortable with the holes for ventilation, and it is infinitely adjustable with two pins on the buckle able to go into every other set of holes.

Finally received my non genuine sports band from China. There are good things about it - it is softer and more flexible than the fitbit sports band and the band itself is comfortable to wear. It cost me $8Au or so compared with Fitbits band at $50Au. So a good deal cheaper. There was also a variety of colours to choose from. It seemed to fit well onto the Ionic, thogh one end did not have an audible click, though I couldnt tug it off.
Band end pokes out
There are also some things I dont like so much about it. The way it is made, the buckle strap is shorter than fitbits and the strapnthat goes through the buckle is longer. I have a small wrist, so the end result is a long tongue trailing from the buckle when it is on my arm. This probably wouldnt matter for a bigger wrist, but on mine the long end (in spite of two keepers) keeps getting caught on things and the very end sticks out annoyingly. The keepers also dont hold anywhere near as well as the Fitbit single keeper as they have no bumps on the inside to grab onto the strap. So for me - my next one will be a Fitbit one again. For someone with a bigger arm it would probably be fine.

I bought a sport band. Also some aftermarket. I like the fitbit sport band better than the fitbit regular band. It sits flatter.
I decided to use the large regular band, even though the small is more than enough for my tiny wrist. I found that helps with the regular band because the buckle is in a different spot. Not sure that will help anyone who already needs the large band as there are only the two sizes.
Aftermarket bands, so far, are better with the regular buckle. The sport band I bought does not have the little nubbies/posts inside the loop that keeps the end of the band in place and the loops are the same soft silicone. they stretch and move so the end comes loose.
I'm still waiting for a couple of "bling" bands I ordered. More dressy. Will reply again once I have them.

I forgot to mention. I also bought a couple of these design. Don't have them yet but assuming they arrive as pictured, the design eliminates the loop and the lack of nubbies inside the loop.

I'm using this. Easy to adjust the length.

Lets get as many people as we can to contact fitbit to sell the loops as an accessory. I don't really care if the loop matches my color. If they had gray and black, that would be great. Then we can buy the aftermarket straps but swap out the loop for the fitbit one with the nubbies inside that actually hold the end of the strap in place.
