Difficulties to sync

I purchased the Fitbit Ionic for Father's Day - 2017.  Since that time, he has had a lot of trouble with it syncing to his iPhone.

 

It appears (from reading some of the syncing topics) that an update was sent out on/about February 15th.  Evidently, his iPhone 7+ pickuped up this update:  Following are the versions he has:

 

On iPhone:    33.1.30

On Ionic:   27.33.1.30

 

Please send a link so I can update his Ionic.

Hello @SassyOne23  when there is an update available you will see an announcement in the dashboard.

Let's go to the what's new doc, it looks like the ionic is up to date with 27.33.1.30

I'm sorry to hear that your father has experienced difficulties syncing his Fitbit Ionic. Thank you for letting us know the version of your devices, they seem to be up to date. In order to resolve syncing issues, please be so kind to follow these recommendations

 

If this doesn't work, you can set up the watch as a new device by following these steps:

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon User-added image
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
