Ive got a bizarre issue on my Ionic which ive had for about two years...
The screen started flickering, like a poorly tuned in TV, then the display would split in two (on the horizontal)...then go blank..., if you pressed a button the screen would illuminate slightly and then go fully blank again.
It is still recording steps and sleep etc. I spoke to support who got me to reset it and update the firmware etc but no joy, only to be told I would have to buy a new one....Not happy, these things are expensive and you would expect them to last a bit longer than that (especially as I don't abuse the device)
looking at the forumn it looks like I am not the only one....

Thanks for the reply, but not really helpful to be honest...
At the end of the day I've been told that there is nothing they can do and ill have to buy a new one (though to be fair they gave some discount but still cost £180+ with VAT), so whilst it is great that you are trying to improve your products it doesn't help those with faulty ones.
As i say, if the watch had a tough life i could accept it as "wear and tear" but this thing just tracks the steps, weight and sleep of a fairly sedentary middle aged bloke..., unfortunately you have me by the "proverbial's" since my partner has an Ionic and they both link to Aria scales otherwise i would have looked for an alternative...
Upwards and onwards i guess
