Distance accuracy issue with activities

Greetings Fitbit Community and Forum

Does anyone have the answer to making the totals on the dashboard accurate.  For example I bike or run 10 miles and it only shows 2 on the dash board. 

 

It appears that this problem occurred a couple of weeks ago and still is not fixed.

 

Is there a solution until fitbit fixes their software

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know how many times you experienced this situation? With which activities you experienced this distance issue? Which mobile device are you using to check the Fitbit app? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the operating system version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
