You can see the total distance that you have covered since starting with fitbit via your profile on the web.

 

Go to https://www.fitbit.com/ and select your profile picture at the top right and you'll go to your profile. On that page look for the "My Achievements" section where you can select your lifetime steps, distance or floors.
