Do you stop the exercise timer right after a HIIT workout?

Before I do a HIIT workout, I select workout under exercises. I was wondering if anyone stops it right after they finish the HIIT/cool down or do you wait until your heart rate goes down in order to capture the calories burned after the HIIT?

Thanks 🙂

You should stop it when your session finishes. The elevated HR will still be taken into account for your days calorie burn, just wont be associated with the HIIT session
